I cant believe it really, but we are selling our little house.
I feel like a traitor, but it is time to move on.
She has been such a lovely house to live in and the community is wonderful.
We have bought some land in another region of the hills though and it is time to spread our wings a bit.
The new house has lots to do before we move in and it's hard to leave a house which has taken us so long to get finished and just how we want it, only to start again!
But I look forward to more renovating adventures and time spent on our land, planting, growing, harvesting and eating.
If you know anyone who wants a little piece of tranquility in the Adelaide Hills, tell them there is a piece for sale!
Beautiful place! So sad.We are selling too soon.
ReplyDeleteAh!The tranqhillity of the Hills, you can't beat it.Hope the house finds some new people to love it.
ReplyDeleteWOW your old place is beautiful too. Love your hens! So so sooooooo glad I stumbled across your blog!
ReplyDeleteWhoa, that is one simple yet very productive house! It seems that there are more than enough rooms and surroundings that a family needs to have. Do you already have a buyer for this old home of yours?
ReplyDeleteGirl, I am so loving your crib, especially the meadow at your backyard. It's so peaceful and elegant. I would love to live in a place like this. Why are you selling it? Where do you plan to stay?
ReplyDeleteIt is okay, Amber. Living in a new house is like getting a new chapter in your life. The new house opens you to new adventures, new memories and even new friends. But that doesn't mean you forget the previous one. Just treasure it as a part of your memories.
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful place, Amber! Why are you selling this? This house is close to perfection, and I can see myself living in here. The future homeowners will be very lucky, for sure!
ReplyDeleteWell, one important factor to consider in finding a new home is the community. A good neighborhood equates to happy and peaceful living. You're home is a good epitome of this. I'm sure many would be interested in it. BTW, if you don't mind me asking, why do you want to leave such a wonderful home in a good community?
ReplyDeleteWow just to live in a house where such a genius resided would be amazing.....hum, wonder if any of that talent that was cultivated there would rub off on the new owner.
